C.Wright Wigs: Mixed Media Wig

I set aside a traditional wig base for this project. I used a BASEBALL CAP instead.

Check out how I did it in this video below. The photo shoot for this project was great. I was able to be really creative and edgy with the look.

The boots are from my closet ( ...yes I've worn them and they make me extremely tall, they are my Eddy Monster boots -I love them)

The top the model is wearing was also pulled from my personal collection. It's a vintage YSL piece .

The Makeup and Nails  done by Yours Truly as well.

My Rolling In The Carolinas Wig

Last weekend The Philly Bombshells ( the female rollerskate club that I belong to) and I went to Charlotte North Carolina for 2 days of skating, socializing and the launch of my new online store CWrightWigs.com.

I wanted to share my journey with you as much as I can . There's so much to be done.

Check out the wig that I built for myself to wear for the weekend. I had less than a day to do it smh....so pressed for time but I turned out GREAT!

I used a horseshoe pattern track placement until I reached the crown, Black Nylon Tread & a C-Curved Needle  to build this wig

Logo Inspiration to Creation

I went to Michael's Arts & Craft store to purchase sewing machine thread for a wig project I was working on and instantly became inspired .

I knew exactly what I needed and should have been in and out. Quick purchase and done. But I can NEVER do that, I always walk up and down the aisles of this store to give my creativity a gilt. Just as I  decided to end my stroll and head to the check out area I found the best display collection ever. The colors spoke to me and stopped me in my tracks. This was the color combination that I wanted for my new brand.

C. Wright Wigs & Hair Peace logo was inspired by these images and design.
